Hi there! I’m Karina.
As a traveller and woman in a long-distance relationship, my heart is always in several places at once. It’s with my partner Gavin, who I met when living abroad in Scotland. It’s with my family in regional Melbourne. And it’s with the couples I work with, as we share their wedding day together.
Being in love with someone on the other side of the world has given me a greater appreciation for the little moments. It’s the lazy Sunday mornings in bed, and sharing your new favourite songs with each other. It’s celebrating your lover’s achievements over a glass of wine, and dreaming about all the adventures to come. These little things are so important, and it’s what drives me to capture the candid and relaxed moments of you being together.
Celebrating true love and bringing stories to life has always inspired me as a photographer. Being able to capture images that you’ll cherish as a growing family, and knowing how precious these images will be as you grow old together is what makes my career so rewarding.
On all the shoots I work on, no matter where in the world they are, I strive to have fun, build a relationship with you and your partner, and become your new best friend.
